Postnatal Yoga PDF Print E-mail

This yoga class is specifically designed for women 1-12 months postpartum and focuses on yoga poses that rebuild muscular strength (especially in the abdomen and pelvic floor), release upper back tension (that often occurs from nursing or carrying a child) and includes pranayama (breath work) to calm the mind.   This comprehensive class also seeks to provide  a forum for sharing parenting resources and build a supportive community for new mothers. New mothers can begin this class 4-6 weeks after birth with their doctors' permission to begin an exercise program.

Mondays at 7:30pm
